Overview

BrainPOP Precision is a clinical research study that integrates personalised tumour testing (molecular profiling) into the care of people with brain cancer.

It combines tumour, blood and spinal fluid samples with imaging and clinical data to better understand each person’s cancer and support treatment decisions.

How the trial works

Participants may provide tumour, blood and/or spinal fluid samples as part of their care.

These samples are analysed alongside scans and medical records to:

• Better understand tumour biology
• Identify features that may influence treatment response
• Support personalised treatment decisions
• Help match patients to relevant clinical trials

This approach also supports research to improve future care for people with brain cancer.

Tumour types

BrainPOP Precision includes a range of brain tumour types, including:

• Glioblastoma
• IDH-mutant glioma
• Meningioma
• Medulloblastoma
• Ependymoma

Who may be eligible

This study may be suitable for people who:

• Have a newly diagnosed or recurrent primary brain cancer
• Are suitable for ongoing or future treatment
• Have tumour or blood samples available, or are willing to provide samples
