Overview
PRIME is a Phase 0/2 clinical trial testing a new drug called BMS-986504 in people with glioblastoma that has returned (recurrent).
The study is designed to understand how the drug behaves in the body and whether it reaches and affects the tumour.
How the trial works
Participants take the study drug before and after planned tumour surgery.
Researchers collect blood, tumour and fluid samples to study:
- Whether the drug reaches the tumour
- How it affects tumour cells
- Safety and side effects
This perioperative approach allows treatments to be studied directly in the tumour.
Who may be eligible
This study may be suitable for people who:

Have glioblastoma that has returned (based on MRI)

Have completed standard treatment (radiation and chemotherapy)

Are planned for tumour surgery

Have not previously received PRMT5/MAT2A inhibitors or immunotherapy

Are otherwise well and able to take part in study visits
